About Rotterdam ByCycle

Rotterdam ByCycle is a bike excursion company set up in 2001 when Rotterdam was the Cultural Capital of Europe. From the first moment on, the green Kronanbikes were a well-known sight in the innercity. Rotterdam did have to get used to such a recognizable image with people participating in something to discover Rotterdam. People weren’t really used to that… “why would you want to cycle around Rotterdam as a tourist?”.

That idea has changed completely these days! Rotterdam is one of the most popular daytrips in the Netherlands. Within the many different and fun ways of discovering the city, the city turns green with Kronans again every year. Numerous companies, holidaymakers and families have learned to appreciate the city more and more because of it.

In 2007 Rotterdam ByCycle has expanded its assortment with a choice of day programmes, a culinaryr route on the Southside of the city and a puzzle tour.If you would like to discover the city in your own time but would like to do so on a green Kronanbike, it is always possible to rent them from 6 people on!
